Joanna Kurman, DDS

Meet Dr. Kurman

Dr. Joanna Kurman graduated from Syracuse University with her Bachelor’s of Science degree. She spent one-year doing research in salivary diagnostics at NYU College of Dentistry and presented her research at the Greater New York Dental Meeting. She completed her dental training at NYU College of Dentistry and continued her education as a General Practice Resident at the Manhattan VA Hospital with an emphasis in Prosthodontics.

In addition, she spent her residency treating Veterans and as a result, Dr. Kurman is uniquely qualified to treat patients with anxiety or apprehension towards dental treatment. Her empathy and compassion are some of the qualities that allow her to build a trusting and professional relationship with her patients. After residency, Dr. Kurman completed a one-year fellowship in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry.

Dr. Kurman moved to Colorado from New York City with her husband to enjoy the mountains and all that Colorado has to offer. In her spare time, she loves hiking with her dog Amos and playing tennis any chance she gets.
